For quite some time, I’ve had this concept in my head of using my particular set of skills — filmmaking, editing, photography, writing and poeticising — and utilise all of it to create videos, and not just regular videos, but meaningful audio-visual content that moves, enlightens, and perhaps inspire people to make significant use of our time here on Earth. Fortunately, I’ve moved into such a beautiful country that is Portugal, and I’d be an utter idiot not to make use of that. Lisbon, alone, has inspired me to create, to photograph, to film, to write and wax lyrical about its multitudinous beauty, this rough-cut diamond of a historical city. Hence, I’ve created this travel and lifestyle blog. Now, I’ve moved to videography, and I cannot wait what’s in store.
In the meantime, I’ve created this mood-piece, a scene-setter for the future video content I’m challenging myself to create, in the hope to introduce to you the motions and emotions, the colours and wonders, the staggering opportunities of travel and living well, and ultimately the purpose of this site — to inspire others to live the dream. It’s never too late.
For this is what living here has taught me — never take time for granted. Instead, embrace its flow with humility and kindness, and learn to slow down and appreciate every single moment. It won’t be long until our time runs out. We better make things happen.
